It is here where the flock hears the Word of the Lord from the pulpit and offers their praise and worship to Him. Our presence in this activity determines how we value the worthiness of the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.

This is the substance of our obedience to the first and greatest commandment which the Lord speaks of in Matthew 22:37 saying “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” It is a good thing to be a Christian, but if we don’t value Him Who offers up His life for us, what good would it be for us. Matthew 7:2 says, “. . . and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

The Weekly Group Bible Study:

This is a weekly group study of the Word of God. It is here where an organized curriculum for the building up of our spiritual life is being studied, discussed and clarified for proper understanding of every member of the Ministry. Through this endeavor, a common understanding of God’s Word is being attained by the Church, thus bringing all the members of CSAFMI closer to one another. It is also through the Bible Study Group that a member of CSAFMI is first exposed to ministerial responsibilities and got first hand experiences on how to care for one another.

The Weekly Bible Study Group Prayer Meeting:

This is a weekly gathering of a Bible Study Group solely intended to pray for the domestic concerns of its attendees. It is here where the Bible Study Group attendees share their lives among themselves and learn to carry each other’s burden. This is to fulfill what the Scripture highlights in Galatians 6:2 saying, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

The Individual Daily Bible Reading and Meditation:

In today’s time of scarcity, people are scrambling over every opportunity to earn a living. What is more ironic is that, in the midst of this situation, many are offering easy ways to attain success and prosperity. Even Christians are carried away from their God-ordained ways and are hooked into these various strategies of amassing wealth. They forget that the Lord has made success and prosperity an inherent aspect of a Christian life. He guarantees it to us through our daily Bible Reading and Meditation!

CSAFMI believes that success and prosperity is one of the Lord’s ultimate desires for His gathered flock in this Pasture. And because of this, a Daily Reading and Meditation of His Word was made a regular part of a member’s daily routine, so as not to miss the blessing that the Lord has spoken of in Joshua 1:8 saying, “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Yes, there are many ways to attain success and prosperity, but for it to be reckoned in Heaven, it should be obtained according to the ways of the Lord only! Therefore, whatever others may say, the Lord still expects us to be doing His Will and not miss His way. Only His ways matters to a Christian whose citizenship is not in this world but in Heaven.

The Conquering The World Program:

Relevant to the enlightenment that we received from the Lord, stipulating that all those who will become members of the Ministry of CSAFMI are called to be Ministers, the ‘Conquering The World’ Program was instituted. Through this program, every remnant of the Lord’s flock that He gathers in this Pasture is made a watchman over CSAFMI. Hence everyone is encouraged to offer a regular time daily to pray for His chosen shepherds, His gathered flock and this Ministry. The goal of the Program is to establish round-the-clock (24-hours) prayer intercessors daily throughout the world for CSAFMI. Yes, the Lord has already disarmed all powers and authority in this world on the Cross of Calvary, but He still needs our intercession so that He could act on our behalf. Our regular daily individual petitions to Him for the things that we desire Him to do in the lives of our shepherds, His gathered flock and this Ministry ensures our conquest of the world before us. It is His desires that we should be more than conquerors.

For the shepherds, the focus of the prayers is for their protection from the adulteration of the world and continuous guidance of the Holy Spirit in their activities, both personal and ministerial. Instead of them being affected by the prevailing trend in shepherding God’s flock, they will be able to affect the world’s perception about God through their correct exegesis and proper teachings of the Word of God.

For the flock, the focus of the prayers is on the attainment of a life wholly committed to the Will of the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord continue to bless them, make them able members of the Christian Community, and worthy representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ in the locality where they are gathered and established as a Church.

The prayers for the Ministry should be focused on her attainment of the God-given Vision. May she not deviate from the ordained Mission and none of those places chosen for her to establish a Pasture for the gathered remnants of the Lord’s flock will be neglected.

The Christ’s Power Pool Program:

Christ’s Power Pool is a program prescribed for every individual member of CSAFMI to start their day by drawing strength from the Lord Jesus Christ. It encourages every member of CSAFMI to meet the Lord Jesus Christ daily between the hours of <st1:time minute="0" hour="4">4:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M.</st1:time> as a personal devotion to His Lordship over their lives. It is also an individual prayer devotion done by a member of CSAFMI daily at the appointed House Of Prayer ordained of the Lord as a dwelling place of His Holy Name in a local community.

CSAFMI's Statement Of Faith

We believe in the Bible.
That the Bible consisting of sixty-six Books of the Old and New Testaments is the inspired Word of God in their original writings, therefore, the infallible and the absolute authority in all matters of our faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the Trinity.
That the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three (3) distinct persons who are eternally existing and are perfectly united together as One Godhead, one not in number but in unity.

We believe in the humanity of Jesus Christ.
That the Son, the Second Person in the Trinity, set aside His divine form and took for Himself the form of a man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, not of human father, and was born of a virgin. (Luke 1:31-25; John 1:14; Philippians 2:6-8).

We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That the Lord Jesus Christ was God in the form of a man, just as He has been God from the beginning and will always be unto eternity. (John 1:1; Revelation 1:8).

We believe in the saving work of the Jesus Christ.
That Jesus Christ lived a sinless life in perfect obedience to the Father, died a sacrificial death once and for all, resurrected bodily, ascended into the right hand of the Father, and forever lives as a great High Priest of all who will believe in His Name. (Romans 8:3-4; Hebrews 10:9-14).

We believe in the redemption of man from sin.
That through the sin of the first man, Adam, the whole human race sinned and became eternally lost and condemned. That man cannot be saved through his own work, and his only hope of salvation is solely on the merit of the atoning work of Jesus Christ. That by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, a man is saved and becomes a new creation in Him, and by that same faith he must live his life to the end. That man forfeits this salvation if he does not remain in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-10; Hebrews 6:4-6).

We believe in the baptism in water.
That every Christian must be baptized in water in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. That baptism in water cannot produce salvation but a public confession of our identification with Him and His death and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19).

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
That the baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience distinct from regeneration and is evidenced initially by speaking in other tongues. That this is a promise to all believers for the endowment of power in their witness of Christ and opens the gateway to the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel. (Acts 1:4-8).

We believe in the rapture of the saints.
That the Lord Jesus Christ will come again for the saints. That those who are dead in Christ will be resurrected and those believers in Him who are still alive will be translated to immortality and they will be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air and be together with Him forever. (I Thessalonians 4:13-17).

We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That the Lord Jesus Christ will return visibly with the saints to the earth to put down all rebellion and that He will rule the world for a thousand years. That at its conclusion, the wicked whose names were not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the eternal lake of fire. (Revelation 20:1-15).

We believe in the Lord’s Supper.
That believers must celebrate the Lord’s Supper as often as they can in remembrance of Christ’s work of atonement. (I Corinthians 11:23-26).

We believe in the Tithes.
That every believer must bring his whole tithe into the storehouse. That this is God’s ordained way for believers of supporting His work. (Malachi 3:10).

CSAFMI's Core Values

Spiritual Maturity

Every member of CSAFMI is expected to attain a quality of life whereby his highest regards for God and the Lord Jesus Christ is truly manifested and practiced in his daily living, trusting in the Word of the Lord even in times of severe trials. This program is established to carry out the tasks related to the Mission of the Ministry. Its primary concern is to identify, prepare and equip every God-ordained servant whom the Lord Jesus Christ will lead to CSAFMI for caring and nurturing until they become able shepherds and are ready to answer His call. The secondary objective of the SHARE Program is to bring every member of the Ministry to the realization that each is a part of the Mission of the Church, having an inherent responsibility to share in the burden of preparing and equipping these chosen servants of God. The SHARE Program is available to all who are called of the Lord Jesus Christ to work in His vineyard, whether member or non-member of CSAFMI.

Shepherds & Flock Provision Program (SAFPRO)

This program is established to ensure that every family that makes up the Christian Community has income enough to support a decent living and that there is no needy person among them. Its primary objective is to ensure that every member of the Church has a job to earn a living. Therefore, its basic concern is to help every non-productive member of the Ministry to find their interests, encourage and assist them in their equipping until they become ready for the trade, are employed and become productive. Its secondary objective is to ensure that none of the members fosters indolence in the Christian Community.

Children’s Free Education Program
The Children’s Free-Education Program of CSAFMI is an initiative solely intended as a proper foundational education for all the members of the Ministry. As has been observed, quality education nowadays is becoming so costly that most of the children of this generation could no longer enjoy. We know that the absence of a proper education, a person would be deprived of many opportunities in life, specially his adaptation to the changing times. And having this scenario, CSAFMI has established this program to ensure that all the children of every member of the Ministry would receive a foundational tool in their life’s preparation for the future. This is a formal education accredited by the Department of Education from Nursery up to High School, and will be offered free to all the children of all the active and participative regular members of CSAFMI. Its secondary concern is to find God-ordained partners of CSAFMI in carrying out this blessed endeavor, aside from keeping tract that every financially able regular member fulfills their minimum commitment of support to this program.

CARE-Partners Program

This program is established to carry out the unification of the Church. Its primary objective is to bring every regular member of CSAFMI to the awareness that they are not alone in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Here, every regular member will be partnered with four other regular members (Man to-men Woman-to-women). Each group will be called a Star-Group. Each has inherent responsibilities to counsel, assist, refer and encourage one another in the group. Its secondary concern is to make sure that the four Core Values of CSAFMI manifests in the life of every member of the Ministry.

Rev. Since I arrived in Saudi Arabia in 1981 up to the night before I first attended the Bible Study Group, I have not enjoyed a night with a good sleep. But on the night after I attended the Bible study, my nightmares vanished and I was able to experience peace throughout the night. The Lord has truly allowed me to experience the remarkable difference of His great love that made me so dependent on Him and His Word since then!

My first living experience of the Lord’s protection happened in January 2001 when the Gulf War was raging in the Middle East. My General Manager forced me to go on vacation. He took the occasion as an opportunity for him to relieve me from my job because he wanted me replaced with a brother Muslim. He placed me in the last plane that flew out of Riyadh because of the war. After I arrived in Manila, the following day, I visited my former Pastor, Mario Pingol in his office. While we were sharing, his phone rang. After he put the phone, he broke the news that our church in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was raided by the religious police and some brothers were detained. After he mentioned the name of Bro. Fred Mallo as one of them, I could not hold my tears because he was the one whom I asked to take my place as Deacon in-charge of cleaning the sanctuary. I could only thank the Lord for what He did to me.

Again, when I returned to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in April 2001 after the war, he allowed me to experience His loving-kindness. While I was arguing with the Custom Officer at the Manila International Airport about the Christian literatures that I am bringing to Saudi Arabia, He spoke to me very audibly and clearly, saying, “I am greater than the situation”. This word which became my only prayer has allowed me to pass through the Custom inspection at the Manila International Airport and the Custom inspection in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with nothing of my things confiscated.

These situations have strengthened my faith in Him that enabled me to stand up for His Word, against all odds. Thus, in October of that year, I quit from the Ministry because of the Elders’ decision to dismiss Pastor Wally Magdangal because to them, there is no Pastor in the Bible. This event led me to spearhead the establishment of another Ministry on October 13, 1991, the “Green Pastures Ministry”, having Pastor Wally Magdangal as our pastor. And because there was no let up of Christian persecution in Saudi Arabia, our group was not spared.

On October 12, 2002 we were discussing about the idea of stopping the Church’ activities because of the persecution; which I vehemently disagree. Our inability to secure unity in our decision, led us to pray. As we knelled down and began to pray, the religious police raided us. After three and a half hours of inspecting the whole area of the sanctuary, they gave up and sent us home, except for Pastor Wally Magdangal whom they brought for interrogation. Later, Bro. Rene Posedio was brought in. When the policemen were about to pick up my picture as the next to be brought, Bro. Rene prayed that I should be spared and he was heard by the Lord. I was left outside the prison to witness another great deed of the Lord – His incomparable ability to save His people on time. Pastor Wally Magdangal and Bro. Rene Posedio were scheduled to be beheaded on December 25, 2002, But the Lord intervened in their affairs and brought them home on December 24, 2002, barely escaping the verdict of death from the hands of the unbelievers.

After the departure of Pastor Wally Magdangal from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in December 2002, we ran the affairs of the Church through the decision of the Board of Elders. But in 1995 many brethren were questioning us about the absence of ordained pastors in the Church. It was at this time that we spend a time in prayer and fasting, gathering every dreams and visions received by everyone in the Church. After reviewing the revelation of the Lord to the brethren, it came out that I was one of those called to pastor the Church. As I am very hesitant to accept the responsibility, I personally asked for His confirmation of my calling. The Lord did not deprive me of His answer. He gave me three successive dreams on the three nights before the scheduled final decision. Thus on October 27, 1995 I was the first among the three brothers to receive the drop of the anointing oil from the hands of Rev. Thomas Hamblin, a Missionary to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

I was on vacation in Manila in 1998, when again the Church met another severe persecution. When the Operation Mobilization (OM) Program called “Desert Drop 2000” (aimed at providing a Bible in every Saudi home) was first launched, one of the brothers was apprehended. And it led to the capture and expulsion of almost over a hundred Christian workers and leaders in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia alone. Though I was warned not to return by an American brother who has an access to police files, I tried to make my way to return. But on the day of my flight to Riyadh on June 17, 1998, Philippine Airline cancelled their flight because of the strike of their employees. While in Manila, the Lord used me as a conduit to bring the plight of these Christian brethren who were imprisoned, to the several Christian organizations throughout the world. God saved all of them, but the situation left me jobless and wholly dependent on His provisions.

Taking this event as God saying that I should spend my life fully in the Ministry, I took the pastorship of the local Church in Cubao, Quezon City. The almost unbearable situation in the Ministry, led me to decide in my heart to stop working in the Ministry. It was at this time that the Lord spoke to me once again, verbatim, saying “Read Revelation 3:8”. After hearing Him said it three times, I lazily picked up my bible and read the Scripture He advised me to read. After reading the Scripture that says, “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”, my heart melted and I was again reinvigorated to do the Will of Him who is aware of everything that is happening to me and knows everything what is best for me.
Now, that the Lord made Himself known to me, I was left with a simple task – only to obey Him! What a simple task! Who will separate me from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? The Lord has it made it clear to me that He has the power to save me in every situation! Glory to His Holy Name forever.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://csafmi-profiles.blogspot.com/2008/01/rev-arnulfo-b-requierro.html' title='Rev.
